Brick Mesh Stitch

Hey BOOCOOS

Thanks again for having me and letting me share this wonder stitch I discovered. The Thick Mesh stitch. What's so special about it, is that it using regular worst weight yarn, but how the stitch it done makes the hat very thick and warm without having to go out and buy special thick yarn for your winter hats. Because everyone knows you can't always find the color you want in those yarns!

So it's great that BOOCOOS is letting me share this with you now because winter is coming up and I now have two hats made from this stitch that I want to share with you.

First hat I want to tell you about is a slouch hat, but it doesn't need to be a slouch hat, you decide when to stop making the main part of the hat, make it as long as you desire and then close it up. You can change the size of the hat buy changing the number of chains at the beginning.

The link to the pattern and tutorial can be found here http://meladorascreations-com.webs.com/meshslouchhat.htm The second video on this page is an updated way to close the hat.

The other pattern I would love to share with you is the child's square pompom hat. This pattern can also be changed to fit any size just by changing the chains at the beginning and how many rows of the hat to add or subtract.

And the pattern and tutorial can be found here http://meladorascreations-com.webs.com/childssquaremeshhat.htm there is also a video tutorial at the bottom of this pattern that shows you how to make your very own pompom maker using basic materials.

So please if you have time come check me out, I am always adding new things and if you sign up I will email you when I add a new pattern and tutorial to the site!

Thanks again so much BOOCOOS for letting me guest post on your page again and thank you all for reading this, happy winter season and here's hoping you keep your loved ones heads warm!
